Salam to all of you,

Yes, it's been a long time, but as they say "Leave to come back" after a busy summer trying to combine Ramadan & Holidays, I'm back...

And what better way to get back into the swing of things than a little stroll around a very fashionable Moroccan stylist who is full of talent:

Zineb Lyoubi Idrissi

I spent the last two weeks in Morocco where I tried to find for you the new fashion trends in CaftanIt is while leafing through a special magazine "L'OFFICIEL MAROC - L'INTEGRALE CAFTAN" which includes the Spring-Summer 2013 collections, that I came across this designer.

I was not only seduced by her simply sublime creations, but also by the fact that this collection was made with her mother Naïma BennounaWhat is more beautiful than a mother-daughter relationship, one of the strongest and most wonderful bonds that is reflected wonderfully through its Caftans Haute Couture ...

The creations often say a lot about the personality of their creators, let's dive into the world of Zineb Lyoubi Idrissi and try to understand the meaning of its collections.

From the start, Zineb was not necessarily predestined for a career as a designer, despite the fact that she was immersed in the world of couture from a very young age. Indeed, she studied at the international business school in Paris and graduated with flying colors. Then she changed her mind and returned to Morocco, she did not see herself doing her life behind a desk!

She decides to follow in the footsteps of her mother who is a creator of Caftan beldi, from there, it is the evidence she makes of her passion a profession: a stylist full of talent is born ...

Like most designers, she trained at LaSalle College for three years. Her energy and creativity will help her to participate in the 9th edition of Caftan in 2005, an entry in due form that will give her the chance to participate in many other events internationally.

You will know, at least my readers will know, lol,

I am a Caftan enthusiast but I also have a deep interest and taste for western fashion in general, what I like above all is the mixture between western and eastern fashion, innovate, have style but while maintaining the traditional pillars.

Unfortunately it has become almost rare nowadays, the Caftan is modernized but in excess and traditions are jostled until they no longer exist ...

What I particularly liked about her was her ability to study Moroccan clothing traditions and reinterpret them with a modern touch.

Thus, year after year our Globe trotter travels the world while innovating the traditional Moroccan Caftan with great taste and prestige.

A workaholic who deserves the extent of her success...

It is thus a very meticulous work and materials of high quality that we find in his creations, as here with an extract of his last collection still in workshop...

A successful 2013 collection, Zineb wins the bet again and continues to surprise us with Caftans in antique brocades, velvets, duchess satins, tulles and muslin entirely embroidered with pearls and crystals:
