The first days of Ramadan and our taste buds quiver at the smell of food prepared for the ftour ...

But if I tell you CHHIWAT what is the first person that comes to mind?

If you don't know her yet, it shouldn't take long, so it is with pleasure that I am going to tell you today about our national Top Chef

Choumicha

First of all, a few words about this talented woman...

Choumicha Chafaï is one of the 10 most popular people in Morocco.

Indeed, at 41 years old, she is not only an outstanding host, but also an icon of Moroccan culture.

Born in Casablanca, then a degree in Marketing and Communication in the pocket she launches in the television animation and it is in 2000 that she begins to animate her own cooking show on the Moroccan channel 2M.

Very quickly Choumicha's recipes are becoming a must in all Moroccan homes.

She also published several cookbooks and founded the first Moroccan culinary magazine "Saveurs et cuisine du Maroc"..

But if I talk to you about Choumicha today, it's mainly because I'm a big fan of her clothes.

And for good reason, in each show it is not only culinary advice that she shares with us, but real lessons in style, from the most colorful gandouras to the latest trends in Djellabas or Caftans worthy of the greatest....

But Choumicha does not stop only in Morocco, full of ambitions, she participates in other cooking shows, including Top Chef Lebanese version ....

But she also participated as a juror in the very prestigious Master Chef show broadcast on TF1

Finally, did you know that traditional Moroccan cuisine is rightly considered one of the tastiest and finest cuisines in the world, and it is with great pleasure that we find Choumicha as an ambassador of this culinary wealth.

Just like Leila Hadioui, Choumicha has become one of the Moroccan personalities who represents our beautiful Moroccan Caftan as it should be.

 Thus, she was the guest of honor at the event Passion for Caftan May 4, 2013 in Berchem, Belgium:

She was also the subject of a portrait in the magazine "illi" which is devoted to the news of free and modern women in Morocco and in the Arab zone on the theme "Traditions of yesteryear".
